Zunkai Stainless Steel has added super duplex 2507 (UNS S32750) plate to its warehouse inventory, responding to growing demand from chemical processing, offshore oil and gas, and desalination industries. The new stock covers thicknesses from 3 mm to 50 mm, with standard plate dimensions of 1,500×3,000 mm and 2,000×6,000 mm.
The 2507 plate inventory includes hot-rolled annealed and pickled (No.1 finish) plate in thicknesses 3.0 mm through 12.0 mm, and heavier-gauge plate up to 50.0 mm for pressure vessel shell courses and tube sheets. All material is produced to ASTM A240/A240M with full EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificates documenting chemical composition, tensile properties, hardness, and ASTM A923 corrosion testing for intermetallic phase absence.
Thinner-gauge 2507 plate (3.0–6.0 mm) is available cut from coil stock with a 2B finish option. Medium and heavy plate is supplied with as-rolled No.1 finish, with optional surface grinding or pickling to improve surface condition for critical applications.
Super duplex 2507 is specified where chloride stress corrosion cracking resistance, pitting resistance (PREN ≥40), and high strength converge as design requirements. Typical applications supported by the new Zunkai inventory include:
Current stock covers all thicknesses in the 3–50 mm range with multiple plates per gauge. Cut-to-size processing (plasma cutting, waterjet cutting) is available for shaped blanks and tube sheets with a 5–7 working day lead time beyond stock pull.
Volume pricing applies for orders exceeding 5 metric tons per thickness. For projects requiring quantities beyond current stock, Zunkai can arrange mill production with lead times of 4–6 weeks depending on mill scheduling.
