Zunkai Stainless Steel has introduced a stainless steel circle cutting service targeting cookware manufacturers, kitchenware fabricators, and industrial component producers who require precision-cut stainless steel disc blanks. The new service cuts circles from 100 mm to 800 mm diameter from 304 and 316L stainless steel coil stock in thicknesses from 0.5 mm to 3.0 mm.
The circle cutting line uses a hydraulic blanking press with interchangeable tooling sets for each diameter, producing clean-sheared discs with minimal burr and flatness suitable for immediate downstream processing. Diameter tolerance is ±0.5 mm for circles up to 400 mm and ±1.0 mm for larger diameters. Edge condition is sheared with a slight draw radius on one side and burr on the reverse, consistent with industrial blanking practice.
For cookware applications requiring a superior edge finish, Zunkai offers a deburring pass that removes the shearing burr, producing edges safe for handling and suitable for subsequent spinning or deep drawing operations with reduced risk of edge cracking.
The service accepts material from Zunkai's 304 and 316L coil inventory, with BA and 2B surface finishes available. For premium cookware lines, 304 BA finish circles provide a bright, reflective base surface that enhances the appearance of the finished product while meeting food-contact material requirements under FDA and EU food safety regulations.
The circle cutting service is positioned for:
Minimum order quantity is 500 pieces per diameter and thickness combination. Lead time is 7–10 working days for standard sizes up to 10,000 pieces; larger volumes or non-standard diameters may require tooling lead time of 2–3 weeks for new diameter sets.
