Description

Carbon steel coil refers to steel coils or strips made from carbon steel (carbon content ≤ 2.11%) through a rolling process (hot rolling or cold rolling). Carbon steel coil is one of the most widely produced and widely used basic steel products in the steel industry.
Carbon steel coils can be divided into three categories based on carbon content: low-carbon steel coils with a carbon content ≤ 0.25%; medium-carbon steel coils with a carbon content between 0.25% and 0.6%; and high-carbon steel coils with a carbon content greater than 0.6%.
